Custom plans
K-N Cypress Log Homes does not have "canned" plans and "canned" package prices from which you must choose. Every log home is custom designed to best suit what you want in a log home. From the hundreds of floor plans and photos we can present to you, you choose which style and features you like best. We then take your ideas and develop them into concept plans. When your concept plans are close to what you want in a log home, we turn them over to a professional to draw up your construction plans. K-N utilizes several draftsmen and engineering firms familiar with log homes in different parts of the country for construction plans. Presently, the cost of these construction plans is $0.38 – 0.50 per sq.ft.

Your permitting authority may not require professional construction plans. However, a financing institution will more than likely require professionally developed construction plans. Moreover, your building contractor, electrician, plumber, HVAC contractor, etc., will need construction plans from which to give you a bid on their work.

Construction plans are the first step toward construction of your cypress log home.
